Visio crashes on print command

I had this problem for a long time..
The moment i used to give print command from visio, the system used to crash and there was the famous BSD. Carried on for a long time by converting them into pdfs and then printing them.

Finally it is solved.. I had to download and install the following update
WindowsXP-KB935843-x86-ENU
